The victim was discovered on the 600 block of Morris Street and taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest where doctors pronounced him dead around 2 a.m., said county Coroner Daniel A. Buglio.

His cause of death is pending an autopsy scheduled for Tuesday, July 17, but officials said he "appears to have suffered head and traumatic injuries."

"With the assistance of the Allentown Police Department, post-mortem fingerprints and facial recognition scans were completed and no hits were received," Buglio wrote.

The man is described as being in his early 20s and "of Hispanic/Asian race," the coroner said. He had no personal belongings on him and was wearing an orange T-shirt with black pants and red sneakers.

He was about 5-foot-7 and 146 pounds with short black hair, a thin black mustache, and brown eyes, the coroner added. The victim had no tattoos but showed "a small 'T' scar" above his right near and a 1-inch faded scar on the right hand near the thumb.

Anyone who can help identify him is asked to call the Coroner's Office at 610-782-3426 or email danielbuglio@lehighcounty.org.
